Greeting Sorors,

 

Let me begin by saying thank you for making this a PHI-nomenal sorority year for PHI PI ZETA. Because of you, our chapter has grown by leaps and bounds. Our hard work and dedication to Douglas County is being recognized and that is all because of our sisterhood. Our Triumphant Founders would be proud. 

 

The theme for this year's Retreat is Finer is a Lifestyle.  Our chapter members represent the epitome of our Sorority’s principles. However, we will take this extended time together to “polish our pearls'' and increase our finer touch on OUR BRAND. This includes areas such as chapter attire, meeting protocols, finances, events, partnerships, and our PHI-nomenal social media protocols. 

 

As we are a growing and diverse group of women, our Finer Lifestyle should also include strengthening our sisterhood. More of us have been able to attend community events and sorority conferences, and this has made it possible for sorors to learn more about one another. My desire for this chapter is that we as individual members are more comfortable about leading projects or events, running for elected positions, or reaching out to another soror if you just need a listening ear. I believe the more that we strengthen our internal sisterhood, the more others will see and experience that Finer is indeed a Lifestyle. 

 

With that being said, stay tuned for the announcement of our Retreat agenda and additional details. We hope Sorors take the opportunity to stay overnight and fellowship with each other.
